Bordering between Uganda and Kenya you will find the oldest volcano on the African continent Mount Elgon. With access to the rich volcanic soil, high altitude and plentiful of rain you have the perfect environment to produce high-end Arabica coffee.
Masaba supports the Friends of Mothers Initiative, a charity that looks to close the gender gap that currently exists in the Ugandan coffee market.
The Friends of Mothers Initiative currently works with over 200 women across 7 villages under the belief of “Bright Beans, Bright Future”.
This Ugandan coffee is sourced from small holding coffee farmers that make up 99% of Uganda’s coffee growing force with over 1.8million households across Uganda reliant on coffee farming.
